The way that value is calculated isn't explained anywhere in-game. This game only displays the bottom end of your estimated range as your MMR value. Instead of just a single rating value, Trueskill has a 'variance' value which creates a RANGE of estimated ratings in which the player can be expected to fall. The system is a 'trueskill' system, which is based on how Elo rankings work. but his avarage score were 400 in all games he got twice as much points? So why? Ok i saw the link and i am stil confused and i still think this is a bug ) If, like I keep asking, ( ) they were to show us the mean rating, the 'margin of error' (3x variance) and the adjusting rating we get now, people could look at the mean rating and see that important large jump when they win a good match. BUT because you're beating opponents ranked much higher, your variance value is also rising, and when that's TRIPLED then subtracted from your mean rating to get the adjusted rating the game lets you see, it looks like you're getting minimal reward for exceptional performance. Your mean rating (which should be shown, but isn't) is rising rapidly if you're legitimately out-performing in your current rank. The issue isn't that it's not SEEING where your rank should go, it's that it's not SHOWING YOU that. The problem is that the way it displays your rank makes it seem like it's tossing random arbitrary numbers at you. Contrary to Kappa's comment, it's a really good system.
